Olivia

Olivia was found on the street in very bad condition in Vasilikos. She was starving and her skin was very sore and full of scars. Luckily she had a collar on that one volunteer was able to hook on to get her whilst feeding her! Olivia was very timid to start with however after some good food and some love, she now wants affection. She is a very sweet and gentle dog, gets along great with others and walks perfectly on a lead. We are building her weight and confidence up.

She would love a home where she can have warmth, love and comfort. She has tested positive for Leishmania (Leish). Leish is a disease dogs contract through being bitten by a sandfly which only exists in Mediterranean countries. Leish is controlled by daily medication, with early detection and being aware of symptoms being key to ensure it can be kept under control, as well to treat any possible relapses later on in life. A dog with Leish can live totally normal and happy lives with the right treatment and knowledge. Zante Strays support all of our leish dog adopters and will always offer support and guidance for as long as you may need it. She can be cat tested on request.
